Ainsworth Jewellers expand business with new ear piercing service

Fifth generation family-run jewellers in Blackburn, Ainsworth’s, has extended its business operations with the addition of a professional ear-piercing service. 

The Darwen Street company is now able to offer safe and sterile ear piercing with a medically-hygienic system from Inverness safe and gentle ear piercing and has created a dedicated salon within the shop where the trained piercer can work their magic.

The new service launch has been made possible thanks to the hard work and dedication of employee, Caroline Young, who has completed a course in order to qualify as an ear-piercing technician. 

It is the third qualification that Caroline has acquired this year, having recently received Jet 1 & Jet 2 certification from the National Association of Jewellers and completing the De Beers Diamond foundation course.  Caroline is now undertaking further coloured gemstone qualifications with the Gemmological Association which sets her career in the industry on course for even greater success.

Established in 1870, Ainsworth Jewellers is run by fifth generation owner, Phil Ainsworth, and his wife, Helen Dimmick.
